OUR APPROACH TO WEIGHTLIFTING
The New York Weightlifting Academy is the only gym strictly dedicated to Olympic weightlifting in the Greater New York area. We hold our pride not only in our athletes, but our coaching staff, who holds USA Weightlifting certifications from Level 2 to Level 5.
The training methods employed by New York Weightlifting Academy focus on making strong and controlled lifters that are technically proficient. Foreign weightlifters are incredibly smooth and exhibit measured lifts, the same should be for lifters in our own country. We strive to emphasize quality over quantity because it is our belief that it makes better athletes.
Whether it’s being a competitive weightlifter, CrossFit, physical conditioning, or improving for a sport, our approach applies effective coaching that produces consistent results and real progress.
