The New York Weightlifting Academy had two athletes compete at the 2019 USAW Junior Nationals in Illinois this past weekend. It proved to be a great weekend for Joceline and Harry!
Joceline competed in the 71kg class, and ended the day with a 164kg total. She snatched 71kg and clean and jerked 93kg. She also cleaned 96kg, which is a new personal record!
Harry finished the day with a 225kg total in the 81kg class. He snatched 95kg and clean and jerked 130kg.
Thanks to all who supported us by watching the live stream and cheering us on. National Masters Championships in ​Salt Lake City, Utah will be next!
